Hello all! This is my first blog ever!
I will attempt to talk about tattoos and piercings on employees. Nowadays,
tattoos and piercings have become a widely controversial topic when it comes
especially in the workplace. Here in my blog, you will find my opinion on
tattoos and piercings in the workplace. I take no sides when it comes to tattoos
and piercings on employees. I believe that professionals such as doctors and
nurses should cover up their tattoos and piercings if they have any because
they are professionals so their looks have to reflect their job. However, aside
from that, I have no problem with employees who have many tattoos or multiple
earrings. I believe that that is the person they want to be and therefore they
should be allowed to be who they are; despite the fact that people judge every
day. Feel free to comment below and criticize my work. :)
My Opinion on Tattoos and Piercings on
Employees
Multiple tattoos and piercings never
bother me as an individual. I never understood why anyone would want anything
permanently on them forever and I don't understand what the need is of the
individual to have multiple earrings; especially facial earrings. But if I
would have to side with one, I would like to say that tattoos and piercings
shouldn't be allowed on employees, at least visibly. I value the body as pure
and clean. When you label yourself with permanent ink and unnecessary
jewelries, it's as if you dirtied yourself. You've put yourself out there to be
judge purposely. Employees should be considerate on if they should allow their
tattoos/piercings to be shown when working. When people see it, it really makes
them think differently of who you really are. So the best solution is to not
have tattoos/piercings as a worker. But if you already do, simply cover it up
or take off those earrings.
